GOSPEL
THE GOSPEL OR GOOD NEWS
The Gospel or good news is: that if you believe in Jesus, crucified, buried and resurrected today, you shall be saved. Crucified for the washing away of our sins in his blood, raised for our justification.
“Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” Romans 4:25
The word Gospel means “Good News”! And it is good news! When you believe in Jesus, you are immediately forgiven by God, and all the sins you have committed are washed away. Jesus preached the gospel by which we are saved in Luke chapter 24: 46-48:
“And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
And ye are witnesses of these things.”
And he also told us the good news in a simpler form in the famous bible verse. John 3:16:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” To “believe in” Jesus means “to trust in or reply upon” him for your salvation. This proves that Jesus was God manifest in the flesh, as the bible says that only God can save our souls, and that we cannot save our own soul with good works.
St. Paul also preached the gospel that saves, when God used him to write the word for word inspired Word of God.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
And so! Jesus did NOT only save us when he was nailed to the cross to wash away our sins. He saved us as well by being raised from the dead. To be saved you therefore must believe that Jesus did not only suffer to take away our sins, washing us clean in his blood, but he also conquered death itself in his resurrection, completing our eternal salvation in the good news of the gospel by justifying us (Romans 4:25).
Do you believe that Jesus died for us and rose again? Will you believe in him today? That is to “trust in and rely upon him” for your salvation? If so Jesus tells us that you will now be spiritually born again (John 3) to become a child of God. You will become one of God’s family by spiritual rebirth.
But Jesus also mentioned that to truly believe you must “repent” and, as Paul phrases it, you should not believe in vain. To get the benefits of the gospel you must repent of your old sins, turn away from them, and turn toward God in your heart for the gift of His salvation. But it is not repentance that saves your soul, it is the grace of God (or unmerited favour of God - you cannot earn it) that saves you. You must stay in repentance to remain saved, that is if you do slip up in anyway at all, you must turn again to God in repentance so that the blood of Jesus will protect you and keep you safe. True repentance is always sincere. Otherwise, if sincere and insincere people are all saved, Jesus would not have asked us to believe in the first place. It is obvious fake repentance is not acceptable with God. Every true believer will therefore bring forth fruit in his or her life, and do good works, but these good works do not save their soul, or in any way contribute to salvation, or that would make Jesus our Semi Saviour. Rather Jesus said “every tree is known by his fruit” not saved by his fruit (Matthew 7). We are therefore saved by grace through faith alone, by believing in Jesus. “Jesus Saves!” is therefore the true gospel!
This then is the good news! Jesus has made a way for you today to walk freely into Paradise and eternal life, because of all that he did for us, and who he is.
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” Acts 16:31

note:
Jesus in Luke 24:44-48 and Paul in 1 Cor 15:1-4 did not add “born again” to the gospel by which we are saved, even though it happens to everyone who believes in Jesus. This is because the born again experience is not God himself, and it is God alone who saves us.
Being born again is an invisible birth of your inner man to become a child of God, when this happens some people speak in tongues, but many don’t. Tongues is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit not all believers have. if you go around saying that you are not born again unless you have spoken in tongues it is a serious heresy, as you are doctrinally consigning to hell (falsely) huge numbers of believers like the Brethren movement who deny the gifts for today. You also say directly that every one who died and repented on their death bed and never spoke in tongues was damned, causing their family unnecessary grief. It says “THEY will speak in new tongues”, it says “THEY will pick up serpents”. The plural means it is the church - not every individual believer. Ever pick up a snake? Ever drink poison deliberately ? Backwoods American Christians almost every year die or nearly die of snake bites because they are misunderstanding what THEY means.

The Lordship Salvation Gospel is a covert salvation by works false gospel. Preachers of this false gospel can be distinguished quickly in an almost laughably easy way - viz-a-viz:
-
They cannot define “the gospel by which we are saved” , as the secretive and cunning hiding of salvation by works by them must be by necessity be hidden in pages of jargon.
-
They keep trying to redefine the word grace with a meaning other than its proper meaning of “unmerited favour” such as the heretical redefinition: “grace is the ability to avoid sinning”.
